IMPORTANT FOR PC USERS!!!!!!!

IMPORTANT FOR PC USERS!!!!!!!

During a recent visit to an optician, one of my friends was told of an
exercise for the eyes by a specialist doctor that he termed as

20-20-20 ." It is apt for all of us, who spend long hours at our desks,
looking at the computer screen.

I Thought I'd share it with you. 20-20-20

Step I :-

After every 20 minutes of looking into the computer screen, turn your
head and try to look at any object placed at least 20 feet away. This
changes the focal length of your eyes, a must-do for the tired eyes.

Step II :-

Try and blink your eyes for 20 times in succession, to moisten them.

Step III :-

Time permitting of course, one should walk 20 paces after every 20 minutes
of sitting in one particular posture. Helps blood circulation for the entire body.

Circulate among your friends if you care for them and their eyes.
They say that your eyes r mirror of your soul, so do take care of them, they are priceless......

Correct Way of Eating Fruits

Correct Way of Eating Fruits

EATING FRUIT - Guide

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths.. It's not as easy as you think It's important to know how and when to eat...

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! - FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit on an empty stomach, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD - Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit... The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid.. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining - every time I eat water-melon I burp, when I eat durian (fruit from Asia with a foul smell yet delicious flavor) my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet etc. - actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes - all these will not happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans.. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste.
Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.

You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

KIWI: Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE: An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoid which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.

ORANGE: Sweetest medicine, eating 2 to 4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.

WATERMELON: Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene - the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium.

GUAVA & PAPAYA: Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good for your eyes.

Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer! Can you believe this??

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

Avoid mobile phones in hospitals

VERY IMPORTANT.......

This is a real incident that happened in a local hospital in Bangalore
, India . A 4 year old girl was admitted due to leg fracture. As it
was an open fracture, she had to undergo an operation to stitch the
protruding bone back in place. Though it was quite a minor operation,
she was hooked on to life support system, as a part of the process.

The doctors had to input some data prior to the operation to suit
different conditions. Thereafter, the operation proceeded. Half way
through the process, the life support system suddenly went dead.

The culprit : -
Some one was using his/her hand-phone outside the operation theatre.
And the frequency had affected the system.. They tried to track the
person, but to no avail. The little girl, young and innocent as she
was, died soon after.

Be compassionate! Do not use your hand phone / mobiles especially at
any hospitals or within the Aircraft or any places where you are told
not to use it... You might not be caught in the act, but you might
have killed someone without knowing.

Sometimes it's a matter of Life & Death.....!!!

Please pass this to as many, since most of us are just not aware of
the seriousness of this issue.

Please Don't Delete. Please Send this to all your contacts and help
save a life..

Last Word :
So friends, please avoid using your mobile phones in hospitals /
petrol pumps / aircraft etc ... wherever it is mentioned no use of
mobiles, go by the rules, it's a matter of life & death.

Latest update after Swiss Bank has agreed to disclose the funds

Our Indians' Money - 70, 00,000 Crores Rupees In Swiss Bank

1) Yes, 70 lakhs crores rupees of India are lying in Switzerland banks. This is the highest amount lying outside any country, from amongst 180 countries of the world, as if India is the champion of Black Money.

2) Swiss Government has officially written to Indian Government that they are willing to inform the details of holders of 70 lakh crore rupees in their Banks, if Indian Government officially asks them.

3) On 22-5-08, this news has already been published in The Times of India and other Newspapers based on Swiss Government's official letter to Indian Government.

4) But the Indian Government has not sent any official enquiry to Switzerland for details of money which has been sent outside India between 1947 to 2008.. The opposition party is also equally not interested in doing so because most of the amount is owned by politicians and it is every Indian's money.

5) This money belongs to our country. From these funds we can repay 13 times of our country's foreign debt. The interest alone can take care of the Centers yearly budget. People need not pay any taxes and we can pay Rs. 1 lakh to each of 45 crore poor families.

6) Let us imagine, if Swiss Bank is holding Rs. 70 lakh Crores, then how much money is lying in other 69 Banks? How much they have deprived the Indian people? Just think, if the Account holder dies, the bank becomes the owner of the funds in his account.

7) Are these people totally ignorant about the philosophy of Karma? What will this ill-gotten wealth do to them and their families when they own/use such money, generated out of corruption and exploitation?

8) Indian people have read and have known about these facts. But the helpless people have neither time nor inclination to do anything in the matter. This is like "a new freedom struggle" and we will have to fight this.

9) This money is the result of our sweat and blood.. The wealth generated and earned after putting in lots of mental and physical efforts by Indian people must be brought back to our country.

10) As a service to our motherland and your contribution to this struggle, please circulate at least 10 copies of this note amongst your friends and relatives and convert it into a mass movement.

Are you aware of 108 ?

A True life incident recall of my Office colleague - From Madhan, Safety officer in Ford.
I am sharing my personal experience with "108" (EMRI) on their Quick response. When I travelling from Pondicherry to Coimbatore last Sunday (02-08-09) night by Bus, the bus met an accident with lorry in National Highway nearby "Atthur" Landmark: "Paaventhar college of Arts and Science".
Two of my co-passenger got injured. One was a lady and the second was her baby (15 months old). The lady had an injury in her hand and the baby was motionless. The First-Aid kit is also missing in the bus.
The accident happened at mid-night 00:57am. On seeing the condition of the baby and mother, I immediately called 108 at 00:59 am. Explained the state of injured persons and location of the place, Village, District & Taluk (assisted by a local person). It took around 3 minutes.
At 01:03 am (within a minute) I got a call from 108 with a conference to the district level center & I explained the exact location/ condition of the persons injured. It took around 3 minutes. At 01:08 am, again I got a call from the Ambulance saying that they are on the way to accident spot. To my surprise, the Ambulance reached the spot at 01:17am and started the treatment. The baby was brought to the active state (may be due to timely attempt by 108-EMRI) & medicines given for injured lady. At the end of their treatment both of them came to normal.
The EMRI 108 Ambulance reached the spot within 15 minutes from the receipt of information to them As I am aware of 108 through training given for EMERGENCY EVACUATION DRILL conducted in June '09, I could help the co-passengers. (None of the co-passengers were aware of 108)
Kindly share this experience, so that the people can make use of wonderful service provided by EMRI – "108" in TamilNadu. EMRI link http://www.emri.in/ -Karrhikeyan.S

10 Facts about Animals

Myths and mysteries make the fascinating, but even odd creatures ought to be understood. We explore a few recent findings, common misconceptions and amazing adaptations. - Ben Mauk Crocodiles Swallow Stones for Swimming The stomach of a crocodile is a rocky place to be, for more than one reason. To begin with, a croc's digestive system encounters everything from turtles, fish and birds to giraffes, buffaloes, lions and even (when defending territory) other crocodiles. In addition to that bellyful-o'- ecosystem, rocks show up too. The reptiles swallow large stones that stay permanently in their bellies. It's been suggested these are used for ballast in diving. Whale Milk Not On Low-Fat Diets Nursing a newborn is no "small" feat for the whale, whose calf emerges, after 10 to 12 months in the womb, about a third the mother's length (that's a 30-foot baby for the Blue whale). The mother squirts milk into the newborn's mouth using muscles around the mammary gland while the baby holds tight to a nipple (yes, whales have them). At nearly 50 percent fat, whale milk has around 10 times the fat content of human milk, which helps calves achieve some serious growth spurtseas much as 200 pounds per day. Birds Use Landmarks to Navigate Long Journeys Can you imagine a road trip vacation without missed exits, stubborn drivers or map-folding disasters? Of course noteyou're not a bird. Pigeons can fly thousands of miles to find the same roosting spot with no navigational difficulties. Some species of birds, like the Arctic tern, make a 25,000 mile round-trip journey every year. Many species use built-in ferromagnets to detect their orientation with respect to the Earth's magnetic field. A November 2006 study published in Animal Behaviour suggests that pigeons also use familiar landmarks on the ground below to help find their way home. For Beavers, Days Get Longer in Winter Beavers become near shut-ins during winter, living off of previously stored food or the deposits of fat in their distinctive tails. They conserve energy by avoiding the cold outdoors, opting instead to remain in dark lodgings inside their pile of wood and mud. As a result these rodents, which normally emerge at sunset and turn in at sunrise, have no light cues to entrain their sleep cycle. The beaver's biological sense of time shifts, and she develops a "free running circadian rhythm" of 29-hour days. Mole-Rats aren't Blind With their puny eyes and underground lifestyle, African mole-rats have long been considered the Mr. Magoos of rodents, detecting little light and, it has been suggested, using their eyes more for sensing changes in air currents than for actual vision. But findings of the past few years have shown that African mole-rats have a keen, if limited, sense of sight. And they don't like what they see, according to a report in the November 2006 Animal Behaviour. Light may suggest that a predator has broken into a tunnel, which could explain why subterranean diggers developed sight in the first place. Baby Chicks and Brotherhood It's a mistake to think of evolution as producing selfish animals concerned only with their own survival. Altruism abounds in cases where a helping hand will encourage the survival of genetic material similar to one's own. Baby chicks practice this "kin selection" by making a special chirp while feeding. This call announces the food find to nearby chicks, who are probably close relations and so share many of the chick's genes. The key to natural selection isn't survival of the fittest animal. It's survival of the fittest genetic material, and so brotherly behavior that favors close relations will thrive. Many Fish Swap Sex Organs With so many land creatures to wonder at, it's easy to forget that some of the weirdest activities take place deep in the ocean. The strange practice of hermaphroditism is more common among species of fish than within any other group of vertebrates. Some fish change sex in response to hormonal cycle or environmental changes. Others simultaneously possess both male and female sex organs. Giraffes Compensate for Height with Unique Blood Flow The stately giraffe, whose head sits some 16 feet up atop an unlikely pedestal, adapted his long neck to compete for foliage with other grazers. While the advantage of reach is obvious, some difficulties arise at such a height. The heart must pump twice as hard as a cow's to get blood up to the brain, and a complex blood vessel system is needed to ensure that blood doesn't rush to the head when bent over. Six feet below the heart, the skin of the legs must then be extremely tight to prevent blood from pooling at the hooves. Elephants Do Forget, but They're Not Dumb Elephants have the largest brainenearly 11 pounds on averageeof any mammal that ever walked the earth. Do they use that gray matter to the fullest? Intelligence is hard to quantify in humans or animals, but the encephalization quotient (EQ), a ratio of an animal's observed brain size to the expected brain size given the animal's mass, correlates well with an ability to navigate novel challenges and obstacles. The average elephant EQ is 1.88. (Humans range from 7.33 to 7.69, chimpanzees average 2.45, pigs 0.27.) Intelligence and memory are thought to go hand in hand, suggesting that elephant memories, while not infallible, are quite good. Parrot speech Parrot speech is commonly regarded as the brainless squawking of a feathered voice recorder. But studies over the past 30 years continually show that parrots engage in much more than mere mimicry. Our avian friends can solve certain linguistic processing tasks as deftly as 4-6 year-old children. Parrots appear to grasp concepts like "same" and "different", "bigger" and "smaller", "none" and numbers. Perhaps most interestingly, they can combine labels and phrases in novel ways. A January 2007 study in Language Sciences suggests using patterns of parrot speech learning to develop artificial speech skills in robots.

Worst experience during walkin in CTS company

Hi friends,
Last Saturday 22-08-2009 I went to cognizant technology solutions for walk in interview based on received mail from cognizant. I went to interview to dot net and sqlserver professional. On that day I reached the CTS company which is located at behind lifeline hospital, kandanchavadi, chennai at 8'o clock .

Before I went to that place lot of people appeared for interview. All are standing on outside the gate. We were asking to security for open the gate, but he could not agreed with us. After one hour he opened the door and we were formed a big line. CTS people treat five by five. So I was standing in the line more than one hour.

I have 2.8 years experience in dot net and sql server.CTS mentioned in mail for requirement on dot net is 2 to 6 years experience. So I felt I am suitable for that vacany. On my turn, the CTS people said that, we need only 3 to 6 years experienced guy.You have only 2.8 years experience. So we unable to proceed you. But I debated with that person based on that email. But no use. So I returned to my home with bad experience.

I don't know why CTS people behaved like that.Even though They have conducted the interview for experienced guys. But they were treated us like freshers. I have negative thought on CTS Company.

Kandaswamy Movie review

Last Sunday My Friend went to the movie kandaswamy in mayajal. He told me about that movie. I want to share that with you.
Cast : Vikram, Shriya Saran, Vivek, Santhanam, Krishna, Indrajith and others
Director : Susi Ganesan
Camera : N. K. Ekambaram
Music director : Devi Sri Prasad
Producer : Kalaipuli S. Dhanu
Film Distribution :

Kalaipuli International

The story revolves around a group of friends who came to Chennai with bare necessities but with a load of dreams and an examination hall ticket. What surprises us is that all of them get recruited with CBI. The money they obtain from raids is used to serve the poor and needy. Kanthaswamy, who secretly doles out money for surgeries, education and weddings in poor families, becomes a phenomenon that is difficult to demystify. Prabhu, does justice to his role as the intelligence officer and he does nail the superhero after 3 long drabby hours.

The movie stretches unreasonably without any rhyme or reason and the hero’s rooster’s outfit and a slightly odd demeanor is exposed in all his vulnerability as the movie progresses. The editing is not good as it does follow a definite sequence. The scenes are just scattered that makes one feel that any scene could be placed anywhere inside the movie. After you feel you have reached the climax, the movie still proceeds to another half hour with an item number and then finally reaches the climax.

Movie Trailer

Vikram has done his role to his best, and he is charming at times especially when he raises his eyebrows in a charming manner while countering Shriya’s jaunts and also when he breaks into a secret smile while nailing the corrupt politicians. He saves the movie to a great extent. What spoils the broth are the clichéd dialogues!

Shriya’s skin show is a treat to all her fans. The short hairstyle that she sports in Kandaswamy is the latest trend among women. Her role, albeit smoking hot, rather comes across as a dumb girl who strips down to threaten Vikram in his fully CCTV monitored office room. Now that’s only a sample of inferior writing.

Ashish Vidhyarthi and Y G Mahendra’s roles are disorganized and Vadivelu’s comedy scenes are not enjoyable as they pop in at odd times even when the movie gets really serious. Cinematography is commendable and Devi Sri Prasad’s tunes make us tap our feet. The movie is simply watchable but nothing more!

positive points: 1) racy screenplay 2) vikraam acting & attitude 3) Devi Sri Prasad's background score which brings life to each and every seen of the movie 4) Vadivelu's hillarious works.. 5) Prabhu & aashish vidhyarthi's acting.. 6) incredible fight sequence's 7) rich camera work.. hats off to n.k ekaambaram.. 8) you dont get bo*ed at any point in d movie.. minus points: 1) skin show by shreya 2) the villan from pokkiri.. susi ganesan should have choosen a better one.. he brings laughter when he dances in pambara kannale song with mumaith khan.. 3) sometimes the BG is so loud tat we cant hear d dialoges 4) suchitra's voice dosent sink with shreya's acting.. 5) shreya's acting
